The albatross from Charles Baudelaire’s famous poem is in New York, where he follows a lament that leads him into the secrets of Red Hook. Maybe this voyage could change who he is, or maybe not. The idea of this story told in the form of a graphic novel, came about in Red Hook itself. The author was in this area of Brooklyn, the birthplace of Al Capone, during the latest of his trips he often takes to New York to take photos and find sources of inspiration. He was there when the pandemic broke out, and he came home with the last plane before flights were stopped. This story, with a book of over 350 photos of NYC, is part of the Tribute to NYC project. Also featured in this Graphic Novel are some photos of Red Hook.
