Sinopsis

"Our story is set in France and England in the year 1775. This period of time was called 'The Age of Reason' but it was really a century of madness! Politicians told the world about how rich their countries were, but thousands of their citizens lived in terrible poverty. Many were being killed and the poor people started to make plans for a revolution. One Friday night in late November, a gentleman called Jarvis Lorry, was travelling to Dover in a carriage. He stopped the carriage when he saw a messenger on a horse." Adapted from the novel by the British writer Charles Dickens. The historical novel describes the life in the eighteenth century, at the time of the French Revolution. Published in 1859, it tells the life in two cities, London and Paris, the first one? symbolizing in some way the peace, the simple and ordered life; while in the second reigns the agitation, the challenge and the chaos, in a time of drastic social changes.
